New What Works Clearinghouse Topic Area: High School Math
Helping high school students develop solid math skills is important to preparing them for college and the workplace. The new High School Math topic area from the What Works Clearinghouse will evaluate research on math curricula and interventions for students in grades 9-12 in subjects such as pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. Do Older Americans Act Title III Services Reach Those Most Likely to Enter Nursing Homes?
Two new issue briefs present findings from the Administration on Aging’s National Survey of Older Americans Act program participants. The first brief assesses whether Title III services are reaching adults at higher risk of nursing home entry. The second brief compares the health and physical functioning of elderly adults who receive Title III services to that of older adults across the United States who meet the age criteria for these services.
