Panel Discussion to Highlight New Report: Skills Development Challenge in Latin America

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Mathematica, and the Inter-American Dialogue hoste a panel discussion and launched the report, “The Skills Development Challenge in Latin America: Diagnosing the Problems and Identifying Public Policy Solutions.” The event washeld on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center’s Horizon Ballroom, 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC.

Policymakers, academics, business professionals, donors, and experts in workforce development convened to discuss the state of technical education and professional training in Latin America, review the lessons learned to date, and explore opportunities for reform in the region.
