Objective

Maryland is beginning a new phase of transforming its all-payer rate-setting system via a new TCOC Model. Mathematica will support Maryland by providing analytic support for its pay-for-performance programs for hospitals. 

Project Motivation

To help Maryland improve the quality of care for its residents and enhance overall population health.

Mathematica supports the Maryland Health Services Cost Review Commission (HSCRC) in implementing its quality performance-based payment programs for hospitals, as part of the state’s Total Cost of Care (TCOC) Model.
