Jennah Gosciak is a data analytics associate at Mathematica. In this role, she supports data cleaning and management for many foundation and federal partners. She has expertise in using such tools and geographic information software as R, STATA, Python, and ArcGIS/QGIS to conduct analysis and prepare data sets in support of education, employment, and human services studies.
In support of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s P-16 Community Investment initiative, a learning engagement focused on improving early learning through postsecondary educational outcomes, Gosciak studied the history of P-16 efforts in five communities and reviewed literature on systems change for one of the initiative’s six public goods.
Before joining Mathematica, Gosciak worked on community-based housing research projects in Providence, Rhode Island, while completing her undergraduate studies at Brown University. She is particularly interested in urban planning, geospatial analysis and mapping, and policy change at the local level based on her experience working with the Providence Parks Department and the New York City urban planning firm WXY.
Gosciak holds a B.A. in applied math and urban studies from Brown University.
