  • Integrated care program enrollment of full benefit dual eligibles has increased in recent years to about 30%.
  • States can use CMS data resources to better understand Medicare-Medicaid enrollees, monitor Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs), and understand state Medicaid managed care programs. 

Mathematica researchers from the Integrated Care Resource Center will provide information on D-SNP enrollment and market trends, including aligned enrollment; dual eligible beneficiary characteristics, including eligibility categories, such as full and partial duals, QMBs, SLMBs, etc. They will also share examples of how to use publicly available CMS data to explore D-SNP performance on quality and other measures and to understand key features of state Medicaid managed care programs.
