As part of the PREP multicomponent evaluation, Mathematica Policy Research is conducting a random assignment impact study of four PREP-funded programs: Wise Guys in Davenport, Iowa; Reducing the Risk in rural Kentucky; Steps to Success in San Angelo, Texas; and Teen Choice in the New York City area. Key outcomes of interest include sexual initiation and rates of unprotected sex and pregnancy. Data collection includes a baseline survey conducted before programming and two follow-up surveys. The study team will produce program-specific impact reports on a rolling basis from 2016 through 2018.
