This is the final report of an evaluation of the Department of Labor’s Job ChalleNGe grants. The Job ChalleNGe grants aimed to expand the target population of Youth ChalleNGe to include more youth who have been involved with the courts and to add a residential occupational training component, known as Job ChalleNGe, that would be available as an option for Youth ChalleNGe graduates. The evaluation examined the implementation of these grants and the outcomes for youth participants related to postsecondary education, employment, and criminal justice involvement in the two years following program involvement. This report describes our findings and presents lessons from the experiences of the three grantees and participating youth.
