This report summarizes the implementation and impacts of the first two years of the CCBHC demonstration. Behavioral health clinics were able to implement the CCBHC model with support from state and federal agencies and enhanced Medicaid financing. The demonstration was associated with reductions in emergency department visits and hospitalizations in some states. The evaluation synthesized findings from qualitative and quantitative data sources, including Medicaid claims.
