Tyler Rose provides programing and methodological expertise for work focused on health evaluation and impact studies.
Since joining Mathematica in 2015, Rose has worked on a range of health projects. He is currently helping lead an evaluation of a behavioral health clinic demonstration for which he is constructing a matched comparison group to model the impacts of the demonstration on patients’ health outcomes and Medicaid spending. For another evaluation, he helped design and conduct an analysis of the eConsultations platform, including its impacts on patients’ costs and usage among patients. Other past project work includes using machine learning techniques to develop quality measures, implementing quasi-experimental designs, and automating reporting systems.
Before joining Mathematica, Rose worked as a statistical analyst at State Farm, forecasting sales and agent performance. He holds an M.S. in applied statistics from the Pennsylvania State University.
This is an evaluation of the implementation and impacts of Project Arkansas eConsultations, which used an asynchronous consultation system that enabled primary care providers to seek input from specialists using an electronic platform.
