This webinar provides an introduction to D-SNP contracting for state Medicaid agencies, including (1) a description of D-SNPs and the ways D-SNPs differ from other types of Medicare Advantage plans; (2) a summary of federal rules for D-SNP contracting with states, including required minimum contract elements and specific contract elements needed for Highly Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (HIDE SNPs), Fully Integrated Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (FIDE SNPs), and Applicable Integrated Plans (AIPs); and (3) an overview of new rules for D-SNPs that take effect in 2027 and 2030.
