Ryan Stringer

Ryan Stringer provides Medicaid and Medicare advisory services in topic areas such as managed care, health law, quality, financing, and access.

He is the deputy project director for a Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) project on Medicaid managed care risk mitigation, medical loss ratios, and state directed payments. He also leads efforts on behalf of CMS to review and improve state Medicaid quality strategies, leads development of tools that help CMS oversee access to care, and provides technical assistance to states on integrating care for individuals who are dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. In addition, Stringer helps colleagues understand and implement CMS regulations across a variety of projects.

Stringer joined Mathematica in 2015 and holds J.D. and M.P.H. degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.
