Key Findings

Key milestones and major activities from October 2020 through September 2021 include:

  • Projects within the 4th, 5th, and 6th RPG cohorts enrolled families and provided them with RPG services.
  • The 6th RPG cohort used the RPG Evaluation Data System (RPG-EDS) to upload outcomes for the first time.
  • We developed grantee-specific quarterly data quality snapshot tools to assist grantees with identifying and resolving issues with data uploaded to RPG-EDS.
  • We conducted a study of RPG partnerships and interagency collaboration among the 4th and 5th RPG cohorts, using an online survey and virtual semi-structured interviews with grantees and their partners.

The annual report describes the major activities and accomplishments related to the cross-site evaluation and technical assistance (TA), across all three active Regional Partnership Grants (RPG) cohorts, from October 2020 through September 2021. This time period was the fourth year of Mathematica’s cross-site evaluation and evaluation TA contract for the fourth cohort (referred to in this report as RPG4), the third year of the fifth cohort (referred to as RPG5), and the second year for the sixth cohort (referred to as RPG6). The report includes a brief history of the RPG cohorts and information on the RPG4, RPG5, and RPG6 projects. The report also provides an overview of the RPG cross-site evaluation and describes highlights from the past year of the contract, support provided to RPG projects during this period, and next steps.
