She is passionate about empowering individuals to confidently and ethically leverage technology, especially AI, to achieve meaningful outcomes in their work. Her leadership centers on building governance structures and organizational culture needed to support responsible AI adoption and return on investment at scale.
Loretta spearheads the development of standardized processes that enable secure, scalable AI implementation across the enterprise. She established Mathematica’s AI enablement lifecycle—from ideation and intake through development, deployment, and monitoring—ensuring innovation is paired with rigor, compliance, and usability. She convenes and leads cross-functional AI “tiger teams,” aligning research, IT, legal, compliance, and business development leaders to evaluate tools, address implementation questions, and define consistent approaches for high-priority use cases. By connecting teams and clarifying pathways from experimentation to production, she accelerates AI deployment while maintaining security and accountability.
Loretta partners with leadership to define and report on AI return on investment, including usage metrics, adoption trends, and estimated time and cost savings, equipping decision makers with the insights needed to guide continued investment. Through her work, she fosters a collaborative environment that builds user confidence with emerging technologies while prioritizing purpose, sustainability, and long-term organizational impact.
Before joining Mathematica in 2025, Loretta was the Technology Enablement Assistant Director at Crowe. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington and an M.S. in Data Science from Northwestern University.
