Key Findings

Key milestones and major activities from October 2021 through September 2022 include:

  • Analyzing data from site visits, a partner survey, and grantee-submitted data for the eighth Report to Congress
  • Examining the costs of implementing two trauma-specific evidence-based practices: Seeking Safety and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Addressing evaluation challenges by implementing a new intensive TA pilot with RPG6 projects and facilitating evaluation learning collaborative sessions to promote shared learning across RPG cohorts
  • Continuing to examine child welfare and substance use treatment partnerships and designing a qualitative pilot study to incorporate participants’ voices into the cross-site evaluation

The annual report describes the major activities and accomplishments related to the cross-site evaluation and technical assistance (TA), across all three active Regional Partnership Grants (RPG) cohorts, from October 2021 through September 2022. This period was the fifth and final year of Mathematica’s cross-site evaluation and evaluation TA contract for the fourth cohort (referred to in this report as RPG4), the fourth year of the fifth cohort (referred to as RPG5), and the third year for the sixth cohort (referred to as RPG6). The report includes a brief history of the RPG cohorts and information on the RPG4, RPG5, and RPG6 projects. The report also provides an overview of the RPG cross-site evaluation and describes highlights from the past year of the contract, support provided to RPG projects during this period, and activities planned for the next period.
