Krista Lynch supports state initiatives to improve access and care by analyzing state Medicaid data. Her expertise includes performing quantitative analyses, developing quality measures, and bridging policy with data analytics.
Lynch currently leads data management for the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services’ Transitions to Community Living project. In this role, Lynch leads a team of analysts in quarterly data releases, including transformation of raw data, measure calculation, dashboard refreshes, report production, new measure and feature development, and quality assurance.
Driven by a passion for continuous improvement, Lynch provides analytics for the Iowa Health & Human Services Hope and Opportunity in Many Environments project. Lynch also supports the Massachusetts Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program community partners initiative in specifying new quality measures and leading extract, transform, and load quality assurance.
Before joining Mathematica, Lynch worked for the Washington State Health Care Authority as an analytics, research, and measurement administrator, leading a team of analysts and epidemiologists to produce performance measures, dashboards, and reports for health care leadership, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, legislators, and public health partners. Lynch holds an M.A. in economics from Kansas State University.
