Wilfredo Lim’s research focuses on measuring and reporting provider performance in the context of health care payment reform. He also has experience conducting evaluations of long-term care programs.
Lim co-directs a project that supports the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services in providing physician feedback reports and developing value-based payments. He has conducted research on the Money Follows the Person demonstration to determine the impacts of transitioning people from institutional to community-based care. He has also evaluated the effectiveness of long-term support services and care coordination for people with disabilities.
Lim has published work in the Journal of Public Economics and the Journal of Health Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University.
