Expanding Integrated Employment: Early Lessons from Scaling Up Pathways to Careers
The SourceAmerica Pathways to Careers® (Pathways) program uses customized employment strategies to help people with significant disabilities secure jobs that are aligned with their skills, interests, strengths, and abilities. Mathematica is evaluating Pathways and early findings have shown an increase in employment and earnings among participants. Pathways can offer lessons to employment service providers on how to engage employers in offering job opportunities and how to work with state and local agencies to establish funding strategies that sustain service delivery.
Join Mathematica’s Center for Studying Disability Policy on March 11, 2020, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m. ET for an interactive webinar featuring a live-streamed discussion with program managers from two Pathways sites about how they implemented the program and promoted systems change to encourage employment of people with disabilities. The speakers also will explore SourceAmerica’s plans to make elements of Pathways more broadly available to employment service providers.
Speakers include the following:
- Noelle Denny-Brown, Mathematica
- Shane Kanady, SourceAmerica
- James Willis, JVS Human Services
- Jennifer Kellett, ServiceSource
- Lisa Mills, Marc Gold & Associates
