Feb 27, 2019

As part of our ongoing efforts to deliver outstanding service and support for our partners, Mathematica announced the appointment of Susanne James-Burdumy and Jeffrey Tranchina as vice presidents of the company. The appointments will take effect on March 1, 2019.

“Mathematica’s commitment to uncovering actionable insights that survive the most rigorous tests requires close, collaborative relationships with our clients,” said Mathematica’s President and CEO Paul Decker. “Susie and Jeff understand the importance of being a true partner to public- and private-sector organizations. In their new roles, they will help ensure that we continue to provide the rigor, objectivity, innovative ideas, and thoughtful counsel our partners have come to expect in support of our shared mission to improve public well-being.”

Most recently, she began coordinating with other human services client liaisons within Mathematica to expand our federal policy and program assessment work. In her new role, James-Burdumy will carry on that coordination, assume responsibility for fostering close collaboration with Mathematica’s federal partners, and continue to drive high quality performance through strategic planning and continuous feedback mechanisms. As a vice president, James-Burdumy will ensure that Mathematica’s project teams apply their unique expertise, rigorous methods, and efficient management approaches to help our partners achieve their goals.
