Areen Sattar is a seasoned IT Product Manager with a strong background in data management and a focus on enhancing the impact of healthcare programs. Utilizing her experience in both technology and project management, she has consistently demonstrated a talent for translating ideas into successful, user-centric products.
Sattar has played a pivotal role in managing and executing comprehensive data management plans that facilitate the collection, secure storage, and insightful analysis of program data submitted by grant recipients to the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation (the Innovation Center). Her commitment to data quality and program improvement is underscored by her role in managing communication between project teams and participating organizations, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on upcoming tasks. Her expertise in data management and dedication to healthcare innovation has been further demonstrated when she presented at a CMS-sponsored webinar on maximizing data quality.
Before joining Mathematica, Sattar has held various software development roles in the loan servicing industry and supply chain management. She is a Certified Scrum Developer and holds a B.A. in computer science from Smith College.
