Brian Stone joined Mathematica in 2019 as a project manager in the Enterprise Project Management Office. Today, he leads project management activities in Mathematica’s state health policy area.
Stone manages multiple projects for state government offices in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Vermont. Currently, he is deputy director of a program that is implementing global budgets for rural hospitals in Pennsylvania. He oversees schedule development, workforce planning, financial monitoring, and risk reporting. He also leads the process for updating hospital global budgets each year and supports communication to program stakeholders about these updates.
From the beginning of his career, Stone has enjoyed working across functional areas and organizing colleagues with diverse skill sets into high-performing teams. He is passionate about managing projects to deliver exceptional service to a wide variety of clients. Stone is a member of the Project Management Institute and holds an active Project Management Professional certification. He earned an M.B.A. and certificate in data analytics from George Mason University.
