Brynn Hagen is a data analytics developer specializing in managing cross-functional data analytic development teams. She has expertise in data analysis, systems design, Medicare and Medicaid quality measures, TAF, and state performance indicators.

Hagen has worked on a variety of projects in Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP, nutrition, and education. She currently is the Solutions Lead on the Performance Indicator Task of MACBIS Data Analytics and Data Quality, maintaining a data quality processing system on state’s Medicaid Performance Indicator data. She is Solutions Lead, managing data analyses to help the state of Iowa redesign its system of home and community-based services (HCBS) in response to a DOJ consent decree and class action lawsuit. Additionally, she leads a team of measure developers, producing data analytics to support the state of Illinois’ compliance with two Olmstead-related consent decrees.

Hagen joined Mathematica in 2012. She holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Economics from St. Lawrence University.
