Chrissy Fiorentini is a quantitative researcher whose work focuses on Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), with an emphasis on maternal and infant health.

Since joining Mathematica in 2019, Fiorentini has worked on Medicaid and CHIP and quality measurement projects. She is the task lead for secondary data collection on the Maternal Opioid Misuse Model implementation and monitoring contract. In this role, she supports the collection and validation of monitoring data from state Medicaid agencies and their care delivery partners and leads the development of technical assistance products for awardees. Fiorentini also supports the Medicaid and CHIP Core Set quality measures project, leading the development of technical materials for the Child and Adult Core Set Annual Review Stakeholder Workgroup, which recommends quality measures for removal from or addition to the Core Sets each year. She has analyzed publicly available administrative and complex survey data on Medicaid and CHIP populations and developed public-facing reports and presentations.

Before joining Mathematica, Fiorentini worked in the Bureau of Maternal, Infant, and Reproductive Health at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. She holds an M.P.P. from Georgetown University with a concentration in international policy and development.
