Research Analyst

Grant Anapolle brings data to the forefront of clients’ efforts to improve well-being around the world. As a research analyst, he leverages modern statistical techniques to uncover the evidence that decision makers and communities need to enact positive social change.

Anapolle has served on a variety of projects that span several sectors and geographic regions since joining Mathematica in 2021. He took a central role in an evaluation of efforts to improve water and sanitation systems in Zambia, analyzing survey and geospatial data to produce valuable insights. He developed an interactive data dashboard to help the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation refine their global Financial Services for the Poor strategy. For a Benin energy project, he processed electrical data to produce measures of reliability for electricity consumers. His other areas of work include agricultural systems and maternal and child health.

Anapolle holds a B.A. in government from Dartmouth College, where he participated in research efforts for the Rockefeller Center for Public Policy and the U.S. Department of Labor.
