Explore PartnershipJennifer de Vallance is Mathematica’s director of public affairs, leading the development and execution of communications and outreach functions that increase visibility and awareness of the company’s work. With a strong focus on evidence-based policymaking, de Vallance helps advance Mathematica’s mission of improving public well-being through comprehensive and creative dissemination initiatives that use multimedia channels, data visualization approaches, and stakeholder engagement.
In 2011, de Vallance joined Mathematica after serving as deputy chief of staff and press secretary at the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, where she was responsible for managing all facets of the agency’s external outreach and communications activities at the local, national, and international levels. Before these roles, she worked with and for municipal policymakers as senior legislative counsel at the National League of Cities and as special assistant to the mayor of the city of Phoenix. She holds a master’s degree in public communication from American University and bachelor’s degrees in political science and international relations from the University of California at Davis.
