Maddie Taylor specializes in delivering technical assistance and operational excellence in service of state Medicaid programs and policies.

On the Learning Collaboratives to Support the Development of High-Performing State Health Coverage Programs project, Taylor leads various initiatives related to Medicaid eligibility and enrollment policies and operations, state technical assistance, and project management, working closely with the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS). During the Medicaid unwinding, Taylor helped CMCS identify and respond to states’ technical assistance needs based on real-time monitoring of state-reported data. Previously, she supported the monitoring of Medicaid section 1115 demonstration waivers and the evaluation of large-scale public health programs in Massachusetts. Taylor is also active in business development at Mathematica.

Before joining Mathematica, Taylor held research positions at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and Partners in Health. She has an M.S.P.H. in health systems from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
