Program Manager

Sarah Chan specializes in operations and project management. She uses operations and project management best practices to ensure high quality, timely, and cost-effective projects.

Chan serves as the deputy project director for AmeriCorps’ Building a Culture of Organizational Learning project. She also serves as the director of operations for multiple projects, including the U.S. Department of Education’s Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Peer Review project and the Next Generation of Enhanced Employment Strategies (NextGen) Project, a multisite randomized controlled trial of interventions for people facing multiple employment barriers. In this role, she directly oversees the operations and project teams to meet client and stakeholder needs.

Chan, who joined Mathematica in 2011, holds an M.P.A. from Rutgers University and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
