Researcher

Stacy Griswold is a researcher at Mathematica with over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating international health interventions. She brings particular experience and expertise in maternal and child nutrition policies and programs for development and humanitarian contexts.

Griswold’s most recent work focuses on providing evaluation and learning services to programs that aim to improve access to essential health services in low- and middle-income settings. As a researcher on The Power of Nutrition endline evaluation, she is using health management information system data to evaluate progress on improving essential nutrition services and on identifying gaps in administrative nutrition data. As part of the Strategic Learning team working with the Rockefeller Foundation’s Global Vaccination Initiative, she is providing support for monitoring, evaluation, and learning.

Griswold holds a master’s degree in public health from the T.H. Chan School of Public Health at Harvard University, and served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Ethiopia (2009–2012). Before joining Mathematica, she was a research manager at Tufts University, where she provided overall technical leadership and direction on designing and delivering studies and evaluations of nutrition-related interventions in both stable development and volatile humanitarian contexts. Her work has been published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition and the British Medical Journal. She is a member of the American Society for Nutrition.
