Jill Feldman, a senior communications manager at Mathematica, was selected to receive the company’s 2023 Charles Metcalf Leadership Award. Named for former Mathematica CEO and board member, Charles E. Metcalf, the award celebrates leadership that inspires others to continuously learn, collaborate, reach higher, and make progress together in advancing Mathematica’s mission of improving public well-being.
“Jill is a tremendously valuable leader at Mathematica, driving the impact of our work and exemplifying the shared mission and values of our organization,” said Mathematica President and CEO Paul Decker. “She engages clients, partners, and colleagues to improve well-being, accomplish positive change in our workplace, and lift up the voices of others.”
Feldman was nominated for the Charles Metcalf Leadership Award by her Mathematica peers for her award-winning work leading Mathematica’s social media strategy; her effective efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion; her collaborative partnership with the organization’s LGBTQIA+ Pride Employee Resource Group and Transgender Inclusion Committee; as well as her consistent demonstration of Mathematica’s core values and cultural fundamentals. Speaking to her impact inside and outside of Mathematica, nominators commented that, “Jill is an exceptionally talented, incredibly hard-working, and uniquely generous colleague who represents the best of Mathematica and brings out the best in all of us.”
In recognition of her contributions to Mathematica, her colleagues, and the advancement of evidence-based policies and programs, Feldman will receive a Charles Metcalf Leadership Award commemorative trophy and a $5,000 prize.
