Amina Tipu is an IT Program Manager with expertise focused on leading and guiding information technology projects and operations. She thrives managing cross functional teams and has experience in data management, data acquisition, and process improvement. Tipu joined Mathematica in 2023 as a Project Manager and Advisory Services Analyst in the State and Local Government division.

Since joining Mathematica, Tipu has led many projects across various states and is an IT Portfolio Manager for Mathematica’s strategic partnership with Socially Determined and MedeAnalytics to transform social determinants of health interventions by launching a Social Risk Insights program focused on measures and outcomes. Internally at Mathematica, Tipu serves as a Project Management mentor for Tech/Analytics projects in the State and Local government division and as a Community of Practice support lead for Data and Analytics and within the State Health Communities.

Previously, Tipu was a Management Engineer at a New York City healthcare system where she developed user friendly dashboards to track patient engagement initiatives among other data focused efforts and led performance improvement projects across departments. Tipu holds certifications as a Certified Scrum Master and as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Tipu holds a BA in Psychology and MS in Systems Science with a concentration in Health Systems from Binghamton University.
