Candice Talkington is a clinical transformation strategy leader experienced in leading health care improvement teams and delivering measurable cost and quality improvement results.
As the benefit enhancement lead for the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Innovation Accountable Care Organization (ACO) learning system, Talkington oversees technical assistance and peer-to-peer learning activities to meet the needs of the Next Generation ACOs. As a Breakthrough Series Collaborative subject matter expert, Talkington provides guidance and support for an initiative to encourage fatherhood and paternal relative engagement in the child welfare system.
Before joining Mathematica in 2018, Talkington worked with large and small health care organizations leading rapid-cycle improvement, population health, care delivery transformation, and team development programs using data to evaluate cost and quality performance. Talkington received her B.S. in management information systems from Colorado Christian University and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality. She is pursuing her M.H.A. and expects to graduate in 2020.
