Beenu Puri is a member of Mathematica’s Health Program Improvement Division. She has extensive experience in data quality, requirements specification, and managing large, complex projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
Puri leads multidisciplinary teams that maintain over 150 chart-abstracted and electronically specified measures reported by eligible hospitals and eligible clinicians in various reporting programs for CMS. To perform this work, Puri develops lean and agile processes, workflows, and tools to support the single piece flow update processes and ensure timely and high quality updates. Previously, Puri led measure maintenance activities, environmental scans, literature reviews, and endorsement and annual update activities to retain measures’ National Quality Forum endorsement. She also led the project management team that supported the Development and Calculation of the Value-Based Payment Modifier and Production of the Quality and Resource Use Reports.
Puri has been a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2010 and earned a certificate in Lean Six Sigma in 2014. She holds an M.P.P. from George Mason University.
