Ellie Irish

Ellie Irish is a senior software engineer with expertise in designing and building internal and public-facing, data-driven web applications that engage users in data exploration and analysis.

Irish has led data processing and cleaning, report automation, and the development of web-based tools to support Mathematica’s technical assistance work with states reporting the Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program Core Set measures. She has also contributed to the design and development of web applications that translate collected data into digital, interactive products, such as for the Accountable Health Communities Model, the TRICARE Standard Survey of Providers results dashboard, and the Fatherhood and Marriage Local Evaluation and Cross-Site project. Currently, Irish coordinates an internship program in web development for health projects, where candidates can explore a career at the intersection of policy research and technology.

Irish joined Mathematica in 2017 and holds a B.A. in environmental chemistry and sociology from Colby College.
