Kate D’Anello specializes in implementing and managing programs. She has extensive expertise in peer-to-peer learning, technical assistance, process improvement, and using data to improve program operations.
D’Anello specializes in managing fast-paced, complex projects for government clients. Currently, Kate's work focuses on partnering with state clients to implement and evaluate programs designed to improve systems of care for people with disabilities, including children and youth with behavioral health needs. She also brings deep expertise in stakeholder engagement and event management from nearly a decade leading a multidisciplinary team providing technical assistance to Medicare ACOs through virtual learning events, in-person meetings, national conferences, and dashboards. In addition, Kate has served in numerous technical assistance and qualitative researcher roles on disability, quality measurement, labor, and education projects.
Before joining Mathematica in 2008, D’Anello held positions with Ruchman and Associates, Inc., and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She graduated from George Washington University with an M.P.A. in public-private policy and management and is a certified project management professional.
