Priyamvada Tewari

Priyamvada Tewari leads business development and strategy for Mathematica’s Commercial Life Sciences practice. In this role, she offers clients solutions in clinical trial recruiting, clinical trial design, obtaining real-world evidence, commercial development, and outcomes research in health economics.

With nearly a decade of experience in life sciences, she has expertise in delivering STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) content, data analytics, and platform technologies. Before joining the Commercial Life Sciences practice, she served as a trusted advisor to various Top 30 pharma/biotech and medical device companies, helping them adopt best technological practices for digital transformation. She has led cross-functional teams in technical sales, strategic account management, business development, and integrated marketing. At Elsevier, Inc., she held increasingly responsible roles culminating in data science and analytics manager. She established Elsevier’s Data Science division, which offers data integration, text mining, artificial intelligence and machine learning, predictive analytics, and custom bioinformation research and development solutions in the Americas.

Tewari holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.S. in biomechanics with honors from Panjab University.
