This guide aims to help practitioners build the organizational capacity to be ready to implement their desired intervention effectively. It (1) describes the specific components of the implementation infrastructure and the enabling context that an organization needs to implement a planned or current intervention, (2) explains how organizations can develop those components based on reviewing the details of an intervention, and (3) provides a hypothetical example of the process. AmeriCorps engaged Mathematica to conduct the Scaling Evidence-Based Models project and develop a series of guides to help practitioners assess their scaling efforts critically, collect evidence on the effectiveness of their interventions, and increase the likelihood of effective scaling of successful interventions.

Efficiency Meets Impact.
That's Progress Together.

To solve their most pressing challenges, organizations turn to Mathematica for deeply integrated expertise. We bring together subject matter and policy experts, data scientists, methodologists, and technologists who work across topics and sectors to help our partners design, improve, and scale evidence-based solutions.
