The Early Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (Baby FACES) is a study of Early Head Start programs designed to inform policy and programmatic decision making at both national and local levels. This report provides a snapshot of Early Head Start services, including their intensity and quality, the characteristics of the children and families served, and how children and families fare in key areas of development when children were 2 years old.
To solve their most pressing challenges, organizations turn to Mathematica for deeply integrated expertise. We bring together subject matter and policy experts, data scientists, methodologists, and technologists who work across topics and sectors to help our partners design, improve, and scale evidence-based solutions.
